Calling All Volunteers!

Welcome to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County Volunteer Page

Where Passion Meets Purpose

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County, every volunteer helps change a member’s story. By giving your time, you’re not just showing up — you’re showing what’s possible. Our volunteers spark curiosity, build confidence, and remind every member that they are capable of greatness. Together, we create a community where youth feel safe, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

There are 46 million young people, aged 8-18 living in the United States. 16 million of them are growing up without a mentor. That's one out of evert three young people who, outside of their family at home, don't have a trusted adult who they believe they can turn to for advice and guidance. Of those young people, 9 million face a variety of day-to-day challenges that put them at risk for falling off track. That means that every mentorship matters.

Ready to make a difference? Your time, skills, and passion can create a ripple effect of change. Whether you have an hour a week or a day a month, there's a volunteer opportunity for everyone. From tutoring and mentoring to assisting with events, your contribution matters!

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Skilled Trades

Help shape the next generation of builders and problem-solvers. As a Skilled Trades Volunteer, you’ll guide youth through hands-on learning experiences that introduce them to real-world career paths in the trades. Volunteers inspire curiosity, build confidence, and teach practical skills that prepare members for future apprenticeship and career opportunities.

    Members learn the foundations of:

     • Carpentry

     • Plumbing

    • Electrical

     • HVAC

  • Culinary

Members train in the fundamentals of the food service industry, earning their Food Handlers’ Certification and gaining real experience through our food truck and catering events. Volunteers can assist with meal preparation, catering, and food truck events—or share their culinary skills to inspire young chefs.

  • Athletics

Support or lead fun, engaging physical activities through our SPARK program. Volunteers help facilitate sports like soccer, basketball, flag football, and more—promoting teamwork, fitness, and confidence among members.

  • Garden

Members learn healthy habits, nutrition, and environmental stewardship in our Club gardens. Volunteers prepare soil, plant seeds, harvest food, lead tastings, support nutrition programs, and maintain hydroponic systems.

  • Other Opportunities

    Include, but not limited to:

    Homework Help

    Arts & Crafts

    Organization/Club Events

  • Corporate & Groups

Team up to make a difference! Corporate and group projects are perfect for companies, schools, and organizations looking to give back while strengthening teamwork and morale. We’ll collaborate to design a project that fits your group’s interests and supports Club needs.
