Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County Now Offering an Adult Basic Culinary Course

Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County is now offering an Adult Culinary Courses at no charge for Martin County residents, 19 years of age or older, who are embarking on a culinary career or changing career paths. The class is designed as a pre-employment training with graduates obtaining Level 1–ServSafe Certifications and Level 2–Line Cook Certification. Training will occur at the Cole-Clark Club in Hobe Sound’s newly furnished custom commercial kitchen. The first program will begin September 20th, 2022, for five weeks meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays for two hours starting at 10 am. Registration is needed before September 9th, 2022.

 

This is a wonderful opportunity to gain experience in basic culinary skills, kitchen etiquette and menu preparation in a friendly environment. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and grow. All equipment will be provided, including a chef jacket/apron.
